Created by young professional SHEs who met during graduate school in Nashville, YBShe was born from a need each SHE felt. Seeking a platform to find professional development resources — centered around workplace challenges, life happenings and more — the YBShe co-founders realized they couldn’t find an inclusive, dedicated platform, so they sought out to fill the gap. Together, understanding the value of shared experiences and storytelling, YBShe was born.
All content curated and shared on the YBShe platform is created by SHEs, for SHEs. It’s just that — a community where SHEs can come together and find the support they need, through the power of shared experiences.
WHO ARE WE?
Though the YBShe team continues to grow (are you interested? We need your help!), there are currently 4 SHEs who make up our main crew. These include:
- Anna Miles, Co-Owner & CFO/CIO: Anna is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for Young&BosSHE. She manages our books, website, and records and makes sure we stay legal. Anna has a mind for process creation, research, and organizational change. If she isn’t working or planning her wedding, she is most likely reading a suspense or romance novel on her Kindle.
- Hope Cooper Buckner, Co-Owner & CPRO: Hope is the Chief Public Relations Officer for Young&BosSHE and the voice of SHEspeaks. She excels at storytelling and is in charge of keeping Young&BosSHE on-brand. Hope is a passionate nonprofit, public relations professional committed to breathing life into communities, empowering action through service and igniting confidence in the women around her. Outside of work, Hope can be found adventuring with her husband Clark and their 8-lb Havanese SaaSy.
- Emily Kilduff, Co-Owner & COO/CCEO: Emily is Chief Operations Officer and Chief Community Engagement Officer for Young&BosSHE. She leads our day-to-day and online community. Emily thrives on creating connections between people that are real and lasting, and can usually be found reading feminist lit on her couch and drinking peppermint tea. She lives in Cleveland, OH with her partner and two cats.
- Brittney Whidden, Director Social Media/Digital Marketing: Brittney came to us as a guest blogger and stuck around to ensure the Young&BosSHE mission, goal and brand is clearly communicated throughout the internet. She’s been helping small businesses with social media and building their marketing efforts full time since October of 2016 after stints in retail, food & beverage and other corporate environments. When she’s got downtime, she’s creating something for the pure fun of it and leading Whidden Enterprises. Follow her adventures at BrittWhidden.com.
